这里民风淳朴，钟灵毓秀。如果说先秦隐士安期生“醉墨洒山石，遂成桃花纹”赋予桃花岛几分仙气，那武侠小说大师金庸先生的《射雕英雄传》笔下的黄蓉、郭靖给了桃花岛几许的灵气，而“观音出家白雀寺”的传说更为桃花岛抹上了传奇色彩。
桃花岛旅游资源丰富，海岛特色明显，门类齐全且品味较高，集山、海、石、洞、礁、岩、寺、庙、庵、花、林、鸟及军事遗迹、历史纪念地、摩崖石刻、神话传说于一体，自然景观与人文景观并茂，每年吸引了大批的游客前来此观光休闲、旅游度假。

Here is a beautiful and mysterious island.
Here is an open and vigorous famous scenic spot.
Entitled as “fairy mount at the sea, dreamland of the knight errants” is Taohua island.
People living on this elegant island are honest and simple. It is said that An Qisheng, a famous hermit of the time earlier than Qin Dynasty, had splashed ink onto rocks after drinking and thus created the marks of peach flowers (“taohua” in Chinese). The legend has given the island mysterious atmosphere. And Legend of Eagle -shooting heroes by Master Jin Yong has added to its nimbus. Besides, Kuan-yin is also said to have start her religious career here in White-bird Temple.
Taohua island has a variety of highly-ranked tourism resources with typical island features. It is a combination of mountains, seas, caves, reefs, rocks, temples, shrines, joss houses (for nuns), flowers, woods, birds, military relics, historic sites, carved cliffs and rocks, and fairy tales. Its natural and humanism sight has attracted plenty of tourists here for sight-seeing and making holiday every year.
The island is not only a famous tourism destination. More importantly, it’s a hot land for investment and paradise for investors. We have long advocated to treat people with honesty and to do business with credit; we have long believed: wealth is not the closest friend but friends are the most valuable wealth; we have also long claimed: making friends is prior to doing business. Maybe we are not making the best of the advantage of the host but we believe we will win for we focus more on harmonious relationship. In recent years, many private own corporations have invested in Taohua and been paid back, among which are Ningbo Nanyuan Groups, Ningbo Huadong( East China) Material-market-construction, Zhejiang Honglian Property, Zhejiang Tongce Holding Company, Zhejiang Yongyue Marine and so on.
